ARCADIA EXPERIMENTAL GARDEN

Doug and Charlotte, the planting designer and landscape architect from Arcadia Landscape and Design, started this project in 2015.  Arcadia garden is a place where the experimental planting design can be tested and also hope to offer a safe and cosy habitat for the local wildlife.

 

There are various naturalistic planting styles you will find here, the woodland garden, tall herbaceous, dry habitat, wildflower meadow and pond areas. A rough path meanders from the entrance down to the bottom site where our nursery beds, polytunnel, and vegetable planters are.

There will usually be a small range of plants available for sale when you join us for an Art Arcadia session or workshop. There may also be seasonal vegetables and fresh on sale too.
